Kryvyi Rih and 6 other cities of Ukraine have joined the global initiative World Travel & Tourism Council #SafeTravels, recognizing the international safety protocols of WTTC and the Safe Travels Stamp to promote corporate social responsibility in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Logos of Kryvyi Rih, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Chernihiv can now be seen among many other tourist destinations around the world on the site.

The first open swimming tournament among veteran men and women took place in Kryvyi Rih within the framework of the Program of sports rehabilitation of combatants.
Almost 100 servicemen competed in the tournament, including those who were seriously injured - swimmers with disabilities.

This year, despite the difficult situation in the country related to the coronavirus pandemic, the construction and reconstruction of important infrastructure facilities in Kryvyi Rih will not stop. Today the executive committee of the City Council is the customer of more than 20 objects of the city on which reconstruction, overhaul and construction from scratch proceeds. About 20 more facilities are currently being designed.

In Kryvyi Rih, 47 outpatient clinics of the general practice of family medicine have already been established and operate for Kryvyi Rih residents. In 2020, almost UAH 161 million is provided from the city budget for reconstruction, capital repairs, equipment of outpatient clinics, hospitals. This year, after overhaul, the hospital №10 in Dovhyntsivkyi district and the modern outpatient clinic in Sunny, Also, in Metallurgical district, outpatient clinic № 2 of Primary health care centre №5 is already open after the overhaul of "block B".
Mayor Yurii Vilkul supervised the overhaul of "block B" of the family medicine clinic, which is located on the street. Tbiliska, 14. In the autumn, it will open its doors to 12 thousand patients from the Metallurgical and Central City districts of the city.

In Kryvyi Rih, under the leadership of Mayor Yuriy Vilkul, a program of partial compensation of loans for the introduction of energy-saving technologies has been successfully implemented for almost four and a half years.
Since the beginning of 2020, the city budget has already provided this type of support for residents of 14 for a total of 565 thousand UAH, while the total amount of loans raised by these housing cooperatives to implement energy efficiency measures is 3 million UAH. Kryvyi Rih in terms of the allocated amount of funding in 2020 became the first in comparison with such large cities as Chernivtsi (UAH 1,600,000), Sumy (UAH 1,500,000), Ivano-Frankivsk (UAH 500,000), Kropyvnytskyi (UAH 500,000), Poltava (300 thousand UAH).

Mayor Yurii Vilkul held a working session on the complex reconstruction of facilities of Sports School for Children and Youth №1. So, works in the palace of water sports, on the 50-meter pool reached the final stage.
“The city put a lot of effort into this facility. It was very difficult because the pool has not been repaired for decades. We had to replace almost everything. In fact, we are building a new modern pool. We equip it with a new bowl, gyms, updated communications, equipment, water purification system and more. All unforeseen situations that arose during dismantling and repair have been eliminated. It will be a really new sports facility with convenient, comfortable conditions for both children and adults,” the Mayor said.
