With the assistance of the "Investment and Local Economic Development" program of the City Development Institution, a delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany arrived in Kryvyi Rih.
Consul General Stefan Keil headed the delegation. Our city, together with German partners, will implement a pilot project on the economic transformation of Kryvyi Rih in the next ten years.

After Mershavtsev park (former Pravda Park) was completely reconstructed and received a second life, so the renovated Gagarin park with his "space" characters became one of the favourite places of rest of children, and a lot of city people asked to make the path from one park to another shorter. For the convenience of residents, in 2019 the construction of a new bridge was started.
At a working meeting on the construction of a pedestrian bridge, Mayor Yurii Vilkul stressed that he was categorically dissatisfied with the pace of work. He gave the task of providing him with an updated construction schedule with the completion of them by the end of July.

The representative of the Ministry of Ecology visited Kryvyi Rih after numerous appeals by the municipality of Kryvyi Rih to the state authorities regarding the fair distribution of funds to solve environmental problems, and after the city authorities sued Arcelor Mittal Kryvyi Rih, whose emissions account for 85% of total emissions in the city. The appeal demanded that the company should comply with the terms of nature protection measures of the created City ecological program.
On July 20, Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Ruslan Strelets conducted a working visit to Kryvyi Rih. Together with the mayor Yurii Vilkul, he visited the Kryvyi Rih department of the state ecological inspection.

The City Development Institution, “Metinvest Green Centre” and “Kryvyi Rih Rock Climbers” united their efforts to organize the event. 76 adults and children gathered to clean the protected area. Together, they collected more than thirty bags of household waste, mostly plastic utensils, bottles, and food packaging.
“This area is green and beautiful, and there are amazing landscapes. Maybe that's why this place is so popular among the residents. It combines industry and nature, the remains of the old railway bridge and a landscape full of rare plants and animals, with the deposits of geological rocks. The purpose of our action is to show that such places need protection,” Hanna Lytvynchuk, a leading specialist of the Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution, said.

Continuing a series of video conferences on establishing ties and exchanging experiences with the City Development Institutions of Ukraine, a conference was held on July 8 between the Lviv City Institute and the Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution.
During the conference, CDI of Kryvyi Rih spoke about the contest of scientific and innovative ideas "Kryvyi Rih Innovation 2020", how the Institute's activities have changed due to quarantine and shared the materials of their projects that will be implemented in the near future.

A pilot project on the organization of accounting for attendance and meals of students of general secondary education institutions has started in Kryvyi Rih. With the help of the universal "Kryvyi Rih Card", students, in addition to free travel on municipal transport, will record their attendance at school and will be able to buy food in school canteens.
Mayor Yurii Vilkul presented the next stage of the “Kryvyi Rih Card” project at the 4th school.
