Since November 2017, Institution of City Development of the Poltava City Council and the Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution have signed a memorandum according to which joint activities, research and exchange of experience are systematically conducted.
On July 7, a video conference was held to establish ties and exchange experiences between the communal organization "Institution of City Development of Poltava City Council" and "Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution".

Mayor Yurii Vilkul held a working seminar to complete the reconstruction of the city's largest pool of water sports in the centre of sports school for children and youth №1.
So far, the work has been completed by 95%. Final works are performed in all office premises, locker rooms, showers and gyms. Also, at the final stage of lining the bowl of the pool. 16 jump stands and a digital scoreboard will be purchased and installed.

On June 26, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Ihor Sokol paid a working visit to Kryvyi Rih. Together with Mayor Yurii Vilkul, they launched seven new trolleybuses on the line and held a joint meeting in the executive committee of the city council.
“Today a significant event took place in the city, both for residents of Kryvyi Rih and for Belarusian-Ukrainian relations. I want to note that Kryvyi Rih is the capital of cooperation between Ukraine and Belarus. It has serious grounds, because the two most important engineering products - BilAZ and MAZ, produced by Belarus, we export to Kryvyi Rih. Long-standing relations are successfully confirmed by BelAZ vehicles at mining enterprises, and now by trolleybuses from the Minsk Automobile Plant. Already 36 trolleybuses went on city routes. I think that all Kryvyi Rih residents will appreciate the new comfortable transport. We are proud of our work!” Ihor Sokol said.

Kryvyi Rih is implementing five large-scale road projects. Adherence to schedules and the pace of work is controlled by Mayor Yurii Vilkul. It was reported by the department of press and internal policy.
3 objects are on the final stage including on the 200th anniversary of Kryvyi Rih Avenue and Serhii Kolachevsky Street, and new construction of a highway from Soniachnyi (Sunny) microdistrict to Spaska Street. At the expense of the city budget, the design and estimate documentation of two more projects are developed including capital repairs of the road on Eduard Fuchs Street and new construction of the road from Hetmanska street to Electronics street.
