The sports complex, which includes a 25-meter pool, was recently transferred to the municipal property of the city. Considering the importance of the facility for both athletes and all residents of Ternivskyi district, last summer a major overhaul of the pool began.
The swimming department of sports school for children and youth № 7 starts conducting training sessions for 120 pupils. Residents of Ternivskyi of all ages will also have the opportunity to attend general physical training groups.
The overhaul of the monument on Kresivska Dam lasted 3,5 months. Maximum of the environmental elements were saved, and all parts of the monument were repaired, the concrete walls of the "star" element were lined with granite slabs and decorative parts, the perimeter of the monument area was strengthened with a concrete fence.
Construction work was carried out on the area leading to the foot of the monument. Considerable attention was given to the improvement of the area around the monument and replacement of asphalt pavements, curbs, renovated sidewalks, pedestrian zones.
Decorative trees and lawns added some natural beauty and comfort.
On behalf of Mayor Yurii Vilkul, the comprehensive project for the reconstruction of the stadium was developed at the expense of the city. In April 2020, the first stage of work began including the reconstruction of the western part of the stadium facade. This is a joint project of the city and the region.
A complete reconstruction of the stadium, grandstands and basements will be carried out. The works include replacement of window blocks with energy-saving ones, installation of aluminium stained glass, installation of gates, insulation of the facade and installation of the plinth with facing slabs, insulation of the basement, repair and insulation of the roof, porch installation, repair of brickwork and beams.
Soon the renovated section of the avenue in the Saksahanskyi district of the city of Kryvyi Rih will be ready for use by all citizens or guests of the city: motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
Work on the section from the 30th anniversary of Victory Square to Spaska Street continues.
The working week for the guides of Kryvyi Rih ended with first aid training within the project "Tourist Workshop of Industrial Kryvyi Rih".
In a friendly positive atmosphere of the guides, the training turned out to be intensive and aimed at developing practical skills of first aid.
