In Kryvyi Rih, the implementation of the winning projects in the contest “Public Budget”, introduced by the Mayor, continues
In total, more than 250 projects have been implemented in different districts of the city. Also, the project "Dream Park" has been implemented in Saksahanskyi Park.
Last year, at the expense of the city budget, all corners of the park were brightly lit. 92 new electric poles with modern LED lamps were installed, and the fountain was reconstructed. Also, as part of the project of the competition "Public Budget", people arranged a summer stage and an open-air playground, designed for 240 spectators. Now, people installed a kind of creative and concert corner, 2 arched entrances with lighting and a canopy over the stage as part of the project.
“We will always support and help enterprising and active Kryvyi Rih residents who want changes in our city. Thanks to such caring citizens, Saksahanskyi Park is replenished with new comfortable recreation areas. Even more amateur groups, painters, artists will be able to give a festive mood to the audience, so the residents and guests of the city will have a great time of their cultural leisure,” Mayor Yurii Vilkul said in his speech to the winners.
“In our park, there are always a lot of children on rollerblades and bicycles, young families with prams, athletes in the alleys, adults with a book in their hands or just talking. Such a diversity of creative and cultural life needed improvement. We named our project “Dream Park”. And the installed arches with illumination will become a bright business card for the district,” Victoria Nychyporuk, the author of the project, told us.
