Meeting on realization of the Program of industrial tourism development in Kryvyi Rih City from 2013 till 2015

On May, 31, 2013 a regular meeting of the City Coordination Council of development of industrial tourism development in Kryvyi Rih City from 2013 till 2015 has been held at the executive committee of the City Council.

 The participants of the meeting were representatives of structural subdivisions of the executive committee of the City Council, industrial enterprises of the city and Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution.

On meeting the following issues were being discussed: collecting of wastes located along industrial tourism routes, creation of industrial tourism logo and construction of road signs which will show the way to the basic industrial objects of Kryvyi Rih.

However the special attention on the meeting was paid at the results of participation of Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution’s workers in the International Industrial Tourism Forum in Zabrze (Poland) on May 22-26.

Director of the Institution Nagornyi Andriy told about basic results of the meeting with the Mayor of Zabrze city and a series of representatives of tourist organizations of Central European countries.

Patsyuk Viktoriya reported about the results of participating in 10th International conference Industrial Inheritance for cultural tourism and in a tourist exhibition, where the industrially and touristic potential of Kryvyi Rih was presented.

Kazakov Volodymyr gave some information as to the features of industrial tourism development in Zabrze, informed about experience of arrangement of Guido coal mine for the reception of tourists.
Taking into account the gained experience, the Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Svitlychnyi paid special attention at the importance of establishing of contacts with industrial enterprises for the sake of acceleration of visiting the objects of industrial inheritance located in the city.

So, we hope that our leading industrial enterprises will do their best to find any possibilities to arrange the excursions on their territories that no doubt will assist establishment and development of industrial tourism in the city.
